  I discovered Kiko about a year ago walking through Central Station in the new refurbished part and I was immediately drawn to the nail polish section because I just assumed that if it's not Mac it is won't work as a makeup line for my African black skin. But Brands like Kiko and Hema are starting to prove me wrong and whats more the quality is great and the price very affordable I was mesmerised by its range of colours  for nail polish ...  gel nail polish, ordinary nail polish and fast dry polish in really trendy colours. Kiko Haarlem is nicely organised but since its small they tried to utilise every inch of space which makes its uncomfortable to be in when its packed. I suggest u head there early just at opening time or on a rainy day when there are less people about. I do have to say i find stuff lacking on indept makeup knowledge and nit the friendlies. But i go there for the products lol and for the prices  i dont really fuss. For the longest time we didn't have one and here in Haarlem so I used to make it a little bit of a treat to go to the one in Amsterdam anytime I was in the neighbourhood or at the train station to get myself some nail polish an obsession which has slowly gotten out of hand lol. Nail polish. I have tried the gel nail polishes.. they're not my thing I am not the kind of person who has patience when I put on nail polish so the the gel nail polishes just never lasts longer than half a day on my nails. If like me and you're impatient and just want a nail polish to dry really fast opt for the smartline.. they dry really fast are really cheap and have great colours, intense and vibrate. There is also the power pro those are nice as well they don't dry as fast but they're equally good. However on a whim I decided to try some of their makeup. Since I don't really like Foundation I just tried to stick with something that will give me a bit of a bronzing effect. The attendant introduced me to the Smart Radiance cream 3 in 1 primer cream highlighter and bass and I love the stuff there are three shades I think, there is an illuminator which if you have dark skin stay away from cos it's not a good look. However the smart radiance with its goldish tent is just so perfect on dark skin. Base&highlighter It's actually all I use on my face on most days or I use it as a base for a light Foundation but mostly I just after moisturizing my face with a shea butter mix just put a bit of the smart radiance on with mascara and work out at the door this is how good this product is.  It does not dry your face but keeps it hydrated all day as. It is simply perfection. Eyeshadow I also love the eyeshadows from the Smart line.. Cult Eyeshadow Palette it stays on all day especially for a person like mewho is constantly touching the rubbing her face that is very important. Lipstick and glosses After many dissappoints i decided to just stuck to Mac Lip products.. so imagine my delight when i got a Kiko matte lipstick as a present and realised that at a fraction of the price of a Mac product i can get a matte lipstick that actually stays one, which pigments are spot on for my dark skin. Make up removers This waterproof makeup remover goes through  waterproof mascaras like a hot knife through butter.. it is amazing! However the primer/fixer i bought was a waiste of money for me.. i have used it on 2 occasions as a fixer and is messed up my makeup and ruined my dress.. I wasnt impressed to say the least. Will give it one more go as a primer before i write it off.
